1. The rooms are really nice and spacious, although some of the furniture can be a little on the tacky side.

2. It is close to great restaurants and shopping, and it is far away from the hustle and bustle of the strip (which I think is tacky and hectic) but close enough to it and the airport that it isn't a major hassle to get there.
