1. The restaurant and front desk were under construction, the place always had a funny cleaning supplies smell, and to top it off, the last night we were there - the room next door across the hall had a fire accident from an overheated exhaust fan in their bathroom.

3. The Clinton is an older hotel and even though it has been renovated it smells like cheap candles when you walk in and through the halls.
