2. At the end of the day I really only need a bed, a bathroom and free wi-fi, but realtalk? None of that made up for the stained walls, lousy drains, bath nobs that were more of a workout to maneuver than ever should be - and my favorite - holes in the shower curtains.

3. In daylight the following morning we realised the room was truly a dump - the decor looked like it hadn't seen a lick of pain in years, curtains were ancient, filthy and marked (although they certainly kept the light out), the carpet was stained and looked filthy.
