1. the horibble front desk who tried to tell us only smoking rooms are available- until we threatened to leave- then one non-smoking magically opened upthe room was HORRIBLE- borken tiles in the shower, coffee maker in the bathroom (appetizing) terrible bed and stained carpet, scratched armoir- veiw of the trash dumpster in the courtyard- would have complained but we were exhausted from drving up from Savannah GA so we just gave up.

2. The room we went into was not only not a suite, but it had stained carpets, frayed curtains, and the air conditioning vent was on the floor.

5. Yes, the radio alarms go off early in the morning, the rooms definitely have stains, patches, nice enough old furniture, the turndown service sometimes is sketchy, the food no longer as fine as it used to be, but somehow the ambience of the place is classy.
