2. upon check out the next day (couldn`t come fast enough) i explained my issues with the stay to the manager on duty (housekeeping manager is the only one available) who could only offer me some extra SPG points- while explaining to me that there was little he could do as this was a union hotel.

4. ); (2) the room was a fair size, with plenty of closet space and it was gorgeous, and the King bed and linens were very comfortable; (3) they honored our Starwood Prefered Guest status (a lot of hotels booked through Priceline do not, but Westins usually do); (4) the very nice desk clerk gave us a sweet upgrade; (5) the staff was polite, friendly and professional (housekeeping issue aside), even at 2:00 AM, when we checked in; (5) we lucked out with parking nearby on the street, to avoid the $26 nightly parking fee (6) loved the Starbucks coffee in the room.

5. The Cons: (1) water pressure is pretty bad (would have been unacceptable if we`d paid full price); (2) certain aspects of the hotel are less than lux: the lobby has an old European hotel look, which some may like -- small and less than grand, but we liked the small bar/lounge - with very professional bartenders; (4) housekeeping issue: we left our room at noon (having kept the 'do not disturb sign' on our door since we heard the staff knocking on other doors down the hall early to clean).
