1. Most rooms are tiny - really tiny.

The first room that my husband and I checked into was much smaller than my parents and in poor shape (dings and scuffs all along the walls) and to top it off the bathroom was tiny with only a pedestal sink and there were light bulbs in the sink (I guess they were changing the lights and never cleaned up).
