6. Coming from Ontario Canada, known for its harsh winters, it is a significant treat for us to lounge by the pool and take in the beautiful surroundings sance snow.

7. The hotel spa has a great view over a desert arroyo and is just steps away from a wonderful pool (check out the historic pictures in the lobby and you`ll see the pool as it was in the `40`s with no other structures nearby, just cactus.

8. This turned out to be advantageous since the one night we stayed, it was pouring rain and then snowing (rare for Tucson, even in December), but, nonetheless, we could still enjoy the heated hot tub and pool.

9. The Hacienda 1 room was spacious and elegant, the bed very comfortable, and the location was within easy walking distance from the pool, hot tub, lobby, and restaurant.
