1. On our last day we walked to the horse stables and set off for an hour long trail ride in the beautiful and open desert surrounding the hotel, followed by breakfast and coffee on the patio, then check out.

2. The hotel spa has a great view over a desert arroyo and is just steps away from a wonderful pool (check out the historic pictures in the lobby and you`ll see the pool as it was in the `40`s with no other structures nearby, just cactus.
