For one notch up the luxury scale, stay across the
street
at the Davenport (same owner); for a quiet lobby and less hub-bub generally, choose Lusso.

We had a king suite on the 5th floor, huge windows looking out on Post
Street
, two nice leather-covered chairs facing a gas fireplace, immense bathroom with jetted tub and big shower adjacent.

The room was very comfortable and although we overlooked the main
street
we were not affected by noise (even though we stayed a Saturday night!).

I immediately told them i would be checking out and I booked a room at the Davenport hotel across the

It is located within a half block of the bus station and there are some interesting characters on the
street
around there but we were never bothered.

Valet parking is $20 per day, but there is
street
parking where you can feed the meter every 1.5 hours.
