Both the Tower and the older hotel are across the street from the self-
parking
lot, so
parking
is not an issue ($20 per day may seem a bit steep, but the hotel is downtown.

Not worth missing the hotel for, but I hope they seriously consider making
parking
free.

The Davenport is a very beautiful, elegant hotel, but
parking
in Spokane is not that expensive overall, and the price for guests should reflect that.

We parked in the self-
parking
garage ($15 a day, versus $20 for valet
parking
) which is right across the street from the hotel.

) Our room was on the 19th floor, facing away from downtown, so the view was pretty much just of the roofs and
parking
lots of other buildings.

(Note: It's open to the public for
parking
, so if there is an event that day you may want to get into the
parking
garage earlier in the day if possible.

Getting to the
parking

They have also modernized the hotel, putting in a large
parking
garage, combining smaller rooms into larger room with incredible bathrooms, etc. This is one of the finest historic hotels in all of the Pacific Northwest.
