8. Pros- Location (within walking distance of Horton Plaza, restaurants, Seaport Village, Petco Park)- Clean rooms- Free wireless internet (other locations in this area charge by the night)- Best price for the area if you don`t want a shared bathroom/ hostel-style lodging- Free breakfast (make your own waffles was nice, although we did not try it, there were some healthy options like fruit and yogurt)- Business center (we did not use the facility)- Extra amenities (included popcorn, Q-tips, cotton balls, and an emery board, free USA Today)- Staff was professional, but not necessarily friendlyCons- You have to pay for parking/ parking is very limited- Bed could use replacing (it creaked when you sat on it/turned over)- The eggs at breakfast were microwaved/fast-food quality and breakfast meats were very greasy.
"Good price, Great location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/1/2008 Vote
9. Try Buca di Beppo (next door) for Italian food in a kitschy atmosphere.
"Great Location in Gaslamp Quarter! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/4/2008 Vote
