We were more than pleasantly surprised by the Comfort Inn Gaslamp mainly for the following:1) The rooms were small but extremely comfortable and very very clean;2) The bed was a double so not very spacious but very condusive to sleep, it was in the medium to firm range, just perfect after a day of exploring the city.

5. The amenities are as good as it gets--shuttle from the airport, comfortable bed, generous included breakfast, free use of business center, nearby access to fitness center, etc., etc. The front-desk staff is exceptional - friendly and helpful.
