1. Subsequent contact with the general manager, Karina Winkler, has yielded neither apology nor explanation, rather exposing a very unprofessional institution which is unwilling to take responsibility for its mistakes.

4. La Quinta is a wonderful chain, though, and as soon as I complained to the desk (and said I wished I would have stayed in the quieter Chula Vista location), the desk manager offered to move my reservation over there.
