downtown

We thought the distance was going to be an issue but it didn't bother us but please expect to take a 25 min drive if you want to go to
downtown
san Diego.

Downtown
SD is a little more than half an hour away depending on traffic.

The hotel is about 15-30 minutes to most of the popular SD beaches, and 20 minutes from
downtown

This is a good choice if your wish is to be a bit up in the hills - about a twenty five minute drive from the
downtown
scene.

Hotels away from the
downtown
core, especially well away, I've found tend not to do this.

I've seen what
downtown
"business" hotels gouge their guests who happen to have cars, assuming that they will just put the cost on their expense reports and not have to pay the fees ($30/day or more!) themselves.

We enjoyed the seclusion of this location, even though it was a bit away from San Diego
downtown

Great Gold course but never had time to play in 8 days (work) 20 mins to
downtown
San Diego which was a shame but at the time the X-rate was 2:1 so it was cheap.

A bus at the end of the road goes into
downtown
San Diego - $2.50 for an hour's ride, every hour or half-hour.
