1. It is 15 minutes of a very scenic drive to the convention center/Petco park, etc. There are lots and lots of restaurants within 3 or 4 blocks some of them fast food and some of them nice casual.

6. The motel is in quite a convenient location as it is a short bus or taxi ride from the city centre or other San Diego attractions and it is also within walking distance of smaller shops and food (including Pizza Nova which is amazing).

7. It was was nice to stay in a small motel where the owners and staff took the time to converse and make a suggestions as what to do and what to see in the area where to find great food.

On my first trip I rented a car, but really didn`t use it after I found out that just about everything I needed is available within walking distance: restaurants (fast food on up,) liquor store(s,) banks/ATMs, grocery store, etc. I traveled alone on this trip and the cab ride from the airport was only $6.75.

9. Having a Caesar Salad with grilled shrimps and a Corona watching the sunset and the fishermen on the porch direct at the sea is amazing, the food is perfect.
