s in SLC are set up in a sort of numbered grid system, which might be nice for the locals, but we found ourselves making a LOT of U turns and it took a few trips to figure the cities layout.

Be sure to get a room facing the
street
because the back side of hotel does not have a very nice view.

With the construction and one-way

s in downtown, it makes it more difficult to get in and out of and this hotel provides easy access.

I enjoyed nightly walks up the
street
to Red Butte Garden, which is a bit of a hike but worth the effort if you've eaten a few of the warm choc chip cookies they put out at the registration desk.
