If you want to go further, the light rail stations is directly across the street and will take you to the greater Salt
Lake
Valley and connects with the UTA ski busses taking you to places like Alta, Snowbird, Brighton and Solitude.

A quick walk to the Tabernacle (or in the summer or holidays to the LDS Convention Center) is also a pleasant one in the clean, well kept city by the Great Salt

My room (unit 814) commanded a magnificent northern view of the Wasatch foothills, of the mountains to the west beyond the Great Salt

, of the LDS conference center in the middle distance and of the state capitol building behind it and above it.
