5. If you are a walker, this is a great location for the price-- you can walk to the street car, walk around Nob Hill (great neighborhood with wonderful cafes, boutiques, and restaurants!), get on the Max and go around town.

6. While the immediate block surrounding the hotel isn't the most scenic, it's very convenient to the 405 highway and I-5, close to the river, and within 2 blocks the Nob Hill neighborhood is available.

10. We walked from the train station, about 1.25 miles---very pleasant if it's not raining, going through the Pearl District with its shops, and a residential-small shop neighborhood before the main shopping area of Nob Hill on 23rd St.
