1. There started also the streetcar route from Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital further downtown to e.g. Powell Bookstore between 10th and 11th st (occupies the whole block inbetween!).

2. The location is just outside of the free trolley downtown area of Portland, but in a very walkable neighborhood, close to fine restaurants and small shops.

3. A short walk down 23rd Ave takes you to the first street car stop that will take you downtown (complimentary pass available from the front desk) and allows you to go virtually anywhere in the city.

8. The location was great, a easy walk to the streetcar to get to downtown shopping, a quick drive to the japanese gardens, and if you`re looking to take a nice stroll, head up 23rd.
