1. The quiet neighborhood was an added bonus, and the close proximity to nightlife was terrific.

2. The surrounding neighborhood is charming as well, with a convenience store and a 24 hour hole-in-the-wall diner that serves alcohol as long as you're willling to consume it (like most places in New Orleans).
