5. The Holiday Inn Downtown-Superdome in New Orleans is a great hotel offering spacious rooms (with a very comfortable bed, two sinks, microwave and refrigerator!) and excellent amenities, including a good restaurant and bar, pool, exercise room, and concierge services.

9. This hotel needs a major overhaul, the rooms are extremely dated, the wallpaper was peeling off the wall, the balcony door did not shut properly allowing in small bugs and taxing the air conditioning unit beyond its capabilities --- and we were on the Concierge level.
