1. The food was excellent - we especially enjoyed eating lunch in the bar in the courtyard (so quiet, we hardly believed were were in New Orleans).

3. Beside the cocktail hour, there were always cordials and desserts of mousse, creme brulee, tortes, lemon bars, mini cheesecakes, etc to end the evening up through 10PM.

4. My wife had to ask for Jack Daniels during the bar service (they did not have any until she asked and some was retrieved from another bar in the hotel).

5. On another occasion, we ordered drinks from the bar and my husband's was served in a plastic cup and my martini in a wine glass.

7. The location of the hotel is great, close enough to the French Quarter for evening walks and an abundance of restaurants but far enough away from the loud music that is blaring from the bars on Bourbon St.

9. The bar in the Lobby was hopping on Saturday night and they were throwing a giant Father`s Day BBQ and Beer sunday brunch in the French Quarter Bar.
