Pros: charming building, great location, COLD AC in the room, nice hot showers, in-room safe, in-room coffee maker, TV is adequate (who goes to New Orleans to watch TV in a hotel?), beds very comfortable, decor was nice enough, staff brought plenty of fresh towels and left them outside the door (we kept do not disturb sign up the entire time we were there), staff was friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions for food, calling a cab, etc. Also accommodated us with an early check-in when our Amtrak train actually arrived an hour earlier than we expected.
