1. The staff *including the concierge* would be hanging out in the parking lot, 'shooting the chicken', so the phone at the front desk would be ringing off the hook.

2. There is a nighttime security there, but I was more afraid of him, than I was of the revellers who left beer bottles and cigarette butts in the parking garage.
