We had a poor experience at the Fairfield inn at Chattanooga the previous night and were looking for an alternative Marriott property to the Fairfield Inn at Nashville Airport and found while we were in Nashville a coupon book from The Official Interstate Guide which had some coupons for Marriott Nashville Airport properties at special walk-in rates if they have room.

2. We had only intended staying one night but we enjoyed the hotel so much we were able to extend our walk-in rate for a second night for a further $69 plus tax.

3. The coupons are also available at their website ([--])The rate for the night at the Marriott website was $148 plus tax but with our walk-in coupon (subject to availability at that rate) we secured a king studio room for $69 plus tax .
