1. Two good business dinner chioces are close at hand-Ruth's Chris restaurant in the hotel and Midtown Cafe a short walk away.

2. I stopped at the Concierge desk to get directions to the 'General Jackson' showboat, as DH and I were there for the 5th Special Forces Group Reunion and the big dinner was on that boat.

Other great parts of the hotel was the fast valet service for our car, the sushi the second night in the concierge room, the tenor singer who was the concierge attendant was so nice to talk to, the shuttle that took us down to music row for dinner sunday night complimentary was very convienient, the travel channel on nashville in our room gave us the reccomendation for the pancake pantry which was awesome for breakfast.

4. For dinner I had the triple grilled cheese sandwich (which, as a connoisseur of grilled cheese, I highly recommend) which a fruit bowl and the signature Vanderbilt dessert.

5. Not worth the calories, in my opinion, but good to tide you over if dinner is later and you are hungry.
