3. Because it was a special event night I am sure the prices were higher than normal, but I searched the most common internet site for the best deals I could find and making the reservations by calling the hotel directly was the cheapest on short notice.

4. I was surprised how expensive the hotels were in general in Nashville, but we wound up with a good deal at the Hampton because the parking was free (other hotels charged at least $10 a day) and they offered a free breakfast in the morning.
