Everything, from
parking
to secure entries to and from the Grand Avenue Mall, has been thoughtfully designed for safety and attractiveness.

In the winter, you would be very happy to pay for inside

Underground
parking
a bit cumbersome but greatly appreciated on cold snowy days.

From the ease of getting to it off I-94 (about 2 minutes - on a Friday eve no less) to the convenient self
parking
($15/day but very reasonable by bif city standards) to walking out of the hotel onto the Riverwalk - it was all good.

The hotel has high ceilings,
parking
$17 per day, nice kitchen, living room, good showers, attentive front desk (asked for extra pillow, etc), pull out couch comfortable for sleeping, breakfast.

Checkin was quick and easy, moved our car from the front driveway to the heated garage about a block away (cheaper
parking
than other hotels I researched).

We were treated very well by everyone, and the $14
parking
was safe, secure, bright and clean for a downtown
parking
area.

(Females should NOT walk between the ramp and hotel unattended in the evening!) We found out as we were checking out that they actually have limited underground
parking
, but this was the first time I have heard of it.

Unfortunately, you have to pay $17/day to park in an extremely run-down
parking
ramp that's a half-block from the hotel.

The only thing I had an issue with was the young girl who checked us in around 8:15pm on may 12th, told us that the overnight open
parking
lot that was $7 we could pay that evening for there would be someone there to pay in the morning.
