1. The door to my room did not seal tightly - not only does this let some warm air in- but this was likely the cause of finding a cockroach in my shoe the next day after visting the beach ( I don't think cockroaches are usually found wandering on beachsand during the day ) - the parking lot is used to valet cars from the adjoining Red Light Restaurant so returning on Friday night there were no spaces left in the main lot.

2. At night the front parking lot is used to valet cars from a club next door forcing resident of the motel to park behind the building in the ghetto.

3. The people at the reception, security guard and valet (who parks the cars for diners visiting the Red Light eatery, adjacent to the hotel) were all very friendly.
