1. The desk clerk was exceptionally nice at 10 o'clock at night, and since I was checking in alone, he asked if I would like upgraded to a King at the same rate as a double.

4. When we come back to Memphis, we would like to stay a little closer to Beale Street (so as to not have to drive and park), but would not think twice to stay here again if there was nothing available in the downtown area at a reasonable rate.

10. They blow their horns and come through at a high rate of speed, low rate of speed, back up, etc. Trains are probably half a mile away but are close enough to see from our window.
