1. However when we arrived after having paid for the shuttle there we were told that they had no record of our booking and that we were booked in at the other Days Inn which is some way out of Hollywood and not even on the Walk of Fame which its name is attached to.

2. As we had just come off a 12 hour flight from Auckland we were too tired to argue and then had to front up with a $25 taxi fare to get there from the Days Inn Universal Studios as the shuttle that had taken us from the airport had left.

3. I called the front desk the night before we arrived to reserve a shuttle from the airport to the hotel ( this is listed as one of their services on the website).
