1. I usually stay in oricey downtown LA hotels a LOT so I have much to compare to the Dixie.

2. First of all, the location is convenient especially if you intend to visit Hollywood and Downtown Los Angeles using public transportation, as the Metro rail station going either way is literally next door.

4. For motorists the entrance to the Hlywd Freeway (101) is also a half block away and though no business or tourist sites are walking distance, you can`t beat the location (less than 20 minutes to Burbank and the TV and movie studios there, Universal Studios, downtown L.
