1. In hindsight I would have stayed a bit closer to Hollywood Strip as I prefer to walk, but the Metro was great.
2. The hotel is also in a good location, a 2 min walk from a metro, which we used lots- its a great way to get around.
3. There were also a couple of nice Thai restaurants within walking distance, a McDonalds and a few supermarkets which were handy.
4. The immediate area was a little seedy, especially at night although it didn't seem particularly unsafe - short drive to Walk of Fame and close to Universal Studios.
5. We booked this hotel as we wanted somewhere economical within walking distance to a metro station and this met our criteria at around US$80 per night inc tax and 2mins walk to Hollywood/Western metro station on the red line (which incidentally is just 3 stops from Universal Studios).

6. Low-priced, clean, quiet, very convenience (turn left for Starbucks; and turn another left for 7-11 and Walk of Fame).
7. If you don't want to eat out, there is a Fridge so you can bring food into the room, there is a Ralph's Supermarket within walking distance on Hollywood Blvd.

9. A pretty long walk, but if you like to walk, its kinda cool to tramp up and down the 'Walk of Fame'.
10. Location was quite good, within walking distance of many Thai restaurants and other cheap eateries.
