2. It was so easy to hop on the red bus which stops outside and have a ride to Manhattan beach, where you can while away the time people or beach guard watching, go to the free Aquarium at the end of the pier, or stroll in and out of the many boutiques.

3. You do have a longer drive to local beaches like Santa Monica Beach, Venice Beach, etc but for the price you pay it's worth it.

6. Best feature: the Ocean Express trolley ($3 per ride) stops right outside the door and takes you to Manhattan Beach, its pier and shops, and two other shopping centers - a nice way to spend some time pre- or post-flight.

7. We also liked the $3.00 return manhatten beach trolley its a pleasant ride along the beach front and there are 3 stops with numerous shops and eating options, at each and sightseeing to pass sometime away whilst waiting for your next flight.
