5. ' I arrived several hours later, the lady at the desk was polite, I got my key, hauled my stuff upstairs (the hotel has no elevator for 2nd floor rooms) and it was in fact a clean and comfortable king size nonsmoking room.

9. What kind of hotel locks their lobby and makes you talk to the front desk staff through a security window (a la a gas station at night)?The room was in order when we arrived, but the ceiling had paint peeling and trains woke us up through the night, as they sound like they go by about 10 feet away from the building.
