We couldn't find any good restaurants in the surrounding neighborhood (and most of the casual dining places seemed a bit sketchy), but the hotel location was good for our night layover - we had been renting a car while in Texas, so we stayed at the Hilton (good parking area) and took the back road to the airport the next morning (avoided the highway completely).
