First, the room was great (and affordable!), with a comfortable bed and nice view but even better than that was a lot of the smaller things I noticed that some other hotels are not as on top of:1) Very friendly front desk staff2) They wrote the free internet access code on my key envelope when I checked in - so I didn't have to call the front desk after getting to my room.

5. No, it's not fancy, but for a very reasonable price (especially with AAA discount), you get a clean, quiet, comfortable, dog-friendly room.
