(We found out later that Colorado has this law that if a guest staying over 30 days want to extend their stay, they can do so without having a reservation even if the rooms are sold out) We were very upset over this, however, the hotel manager, Mike Mitchell, took care of our needs a day after & explained the situation professionally.

5. Sergio, the food manager upon hearing my delema of not cancelling my other reservations at a nearby Marriott by the cancellation time grabbed my reservation numbers and cancelled them for me.
