1. The hotel is very clean and the large lobby has lots of comfortable chairs and couches and fireplaces that invite you to sit, read and talk.

But I think what I enjoy most about this very special hotel is just relaxing in the large warm and comfortable lobby with its roaring fireplaces, eating a leisurely breakfast, and looking out the abundant windows at folks scurrying off to work as the snow gently falls and thinking -- this is luxury.

7. Parking in this hotel is offered for $20 a day the garage just above the lobby, but for some reason I was never charged for this even though I used it.
