1. Also, if you're from a water conscious area the entire Dallas area will give you pause (pressure washing the streets, non-aerated shower and sink, etc.)I adored the service, despite checking in kinda late the gentleman at the front desk offered to send a crib up to the room without us having to ask and all of the staff was incredibly sweet to our 7.5 month old.

2. The location is great, across the street from union station, and the metro rail, which can take you all over dallas for 4 bucks, and you can walk to Market square, where there are all types of eateries.

4. If you have a car, you will have to be up to move it at 7 AM if you park on the street, or 6 AM if you park it in the only lot that allows overnight parking in the vicinity (behind the hotel).

5. Just down the street is the Texas Book Depository and the infamous Grassy Knoll, with excellent nuseum charting the JFKennedy rise and ultimate assassination.

8. I have stayed at the Lawrence on three occasions, choosing it the first time because it was right across the street from the train station from where I was arriving and departing, and choosing it subsequently for the same reason plus my my general satisfaction with it.

9. Although we paid for valet parking, I looked out our window one morning at 6:15 a.m. and saw our car parked on the street in front of the hotel.
