1. Overall: The hotel is above average but it usually costs over $200 on weekdays so it doesn't come cheap.

2. But, if you need to layover or you have a group meeting like us, there is no need to go outside DFW itself if you want to avoid hassle, transporation costs, etc. Nice job, Hyatt Regency DFW.

3. Bath/sep shower and good internet access (at cost - no free wi-fi here - one of USA's only hotels without free wi-fi!).

4. I would very much recommend this hotel to anyone staying overnight at the airport and would even recommend it to someone looking to stay in the Dallas area longer than just overnight as this is a very nice hotel at a very affordable cost.

6. The staff were friendly and help, the hotel has been nicely renovated, my company had a large function and all support and arrangements were excellent, breakfast buffet was very good, the room was large with a wonderful king size bed and the cost was moderate.

This was on top of the rate for the room ($260 per night plus several taxes) I decided to take the offer and was glad I did - the breakfast next morning was exceptional (recommend the eggs benedict and the breakfast parfait) and the internet access was quick - given how much these facilities cost on their own, it did represent good value.
