1. In spite of what some of the other reviews said, I wouldn`t consider the neighborhood around the hotel to be at all scary.

4. The neighborhood is definitely a bit scary, so I would not recommend walking around, especially at night.

5. One real nice things is that they have a shuttle service which will bring you anywhere within a 5-mile radius, so it makes the hotel sort of a 'compound' within the bad neighborhood.
