1. Oh, you will have to pay $12 night to park in the hotel garage (there are some other parking lots just up the street which are cheaper, but not as convenient).

2. Charlotte has 2 nice, clean, FREE trolleys/shuttles that run the length of two major streets downtown (Uptown).

5. Right across the street, each morning we were able to quickly get a fabulous breakfast at the Bytes cafe (I believe the students at Johnson and Wales culinary arts students prepare the food).

6. The street this hotel is on is lined with a variety of very interesting restaurants (artisanal pizza, Thai, Cuban, seafood, middle eastern, American, delis, wine, etc).

7. Haven't we advanced to the point where you don't have to gouge for this anymore?), breakfast ($13 for the buffet and that's the cheap option), $3 for coffee in the lobby IF you're a Hilton GOLD member (alas, I'm but a silver, thank God there's a Starbucks across the street).
