1. Coming back in the evening was easy, but during the day, one must be very careful crossing the streets to the subway.

3. Parking: Upon arrival we realized that you had to pay for parking ($10 a day) which definitely was an inconvenience because parking is tight in that area to begin with, and the area surrounding the hotel isn't the safest, to park your car on the street so that was a bit annoying.

6. ) mount vernon streets in boston, and google maps is most likely showing you the downtown mount vernon street - and so was our gps!the 'doubletree club boston bayside' is NOT in downtown, but in a quite ugly suburban setting, no cafes or shops around, and very deserted at night.

9. Although we didn't use, it is close to the T station although you have to cross a busy street which is torn up right now with construction.

10. It is definitely not across the street, but a 5-10 minute walk along a very busy street and no way would we walk while it was dark to the T.
