1. There is a lovely park across the street with a small snack shop for coffee, ice cream,and sandwiches in the park.

Our room was on second floor overlooking Oliver Street --- it is a quiet street - no buses, or truck traffic did we hear - Hotel is chiefly caters to business but very accomodating of our tourist family - there are no kids activities - the pool was heated , max depth is 4.5 ft and our 10 yo daughter loved it - When you visit Boston , you must take in the JFK museum -- easily accessible by subway and free shuttle .

7. We stayed at the luxurious Langham convienently located on Franklin street in close walking distance to everything!(shops, restaurants, the T)Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very nice bell boy who helped us with our luggage while he called another gentleman to vallet our vehicle.

8. Construction across the street featured an outdoor generator that roared until 11 p.m. each night, making sleep impossible, but that was beyond the hotel`s control.

10. If you have your own car and don't need in-and-out availability, save yourself $8 a night and park right across the street in the Post Office Square underground garage.
