1. The room itself was very clean, the bed was wonderfully comfortable and on a high floor there was little to no street noise.

7. The hotel is located about 5 blocks from the Inner Harbor and right across the street from one of Baltimore's major fire stations - great if you like sirens at all hours of the night - and in a area you might say is 'in transition'.

10. You can go visit the Edgar Allan Poe memorial and grave just blocks away - on foot or there is ample street parking by the little cemetery and church.
