9. Me and my girlfriend arrived in July for 11 nights at circus circus, we got dropped off by arrogant shuttle driver first from airport after our 11 hour flight from Ireland, at the back entrance of the hotel, nonone there to help us with our bags, lobby looked bit shabby and quite dark, we got into the queue which wasn't too bad, but was little confusing, even the guy next to me didn't know where to go, but finally we were called away to the other side of the check in desk, staff were pleasant enough at checking in, gave us a map of the place as it's really big, and you need it to find your room, needed to pay 8 dollars a night for resort fee, it gets you free wifi and use of the pool, but I dont know why they say these things are free when there not, finally got to room dragging behind us are huge cases through this smoky overcrowded casino trying to dodge everyone, lifts are as slow as hell too, upon entering our room first thing I noticed was wrong room, we ordered a king bed in casino tower, instead we got 2 double beds with an adjoining family room, could hear people easily next door, room is a good size and beds are comfy that's the only positive, no coffee making facility either, tv absolute crap, nothing on it except ads that sell you Vegas and the casino, not even a good film on or anything, view also terrible, looking over the circus dome that's about it, with loud noise coming from the air conditioning fans from the casino floor, so didn't complain much about this as I thought wouldn't be in room much, the hotel seems to cater mostly for families, kids would get a lot of entertainment here with circus free acts and adventure dome but it wasn't really for us, we spent our first couple of days in casino as was raining when we first got there, so were kinda trapped, we eat in rock and ritas a few times, which wasn't bad, but wasn't great either, they have no upscale restaurants just family places and cheesy bartenders who think they are class, there was no atmosphere at all in the bars, the entertainment for couples are young girls/guys is non existent, my advice just go to different casino, when girlfriend took ill during holiday, we had to get her wheelchair on her return, we were out of the casino for few days, we had to organise with casino getting a wheelchair first, very unhelpful staff when we got there again, I had to run inside to get wheelchair and they told me to bring it straight back as says different company deals with wheelchairs, no one there to give me a hand at all, very bad customer service, they were more interested in getting as many people checked in a possible as could see it was quite busy, anyway they made me pay another 40 dollars to rent the wheel chair which I honestly think is disgusting, woman on bell desk also looked at me like i,d two heads as if i was creating a problem for her, had to spend most of time in our room after that, with no room service, and having to go down to casino to order food every night, also don't go near shops in casino they are an absolute rip off, go to supermarket to get booze, water etc, they charge nearly 5 dollars for bottle of water and 7 dollars for a beer, joke.
