3. The room was clean enough, but it did have a mild smokey pong (as a non-smoker it was a bit offensive, but we got used to it)The glitz of Fremont Street is right under your nose, with plenty of places to eat in and loads of entertainment.

4. You have hundreds of rooms tucked behind casinos that line Fremont Street, and it's amazing how many people are so concentrated in such a small area.

9. *Large room with a vanity, small table and 2 chairs*Free parking for hotel guests*Iron/Board/Hairdryer*Strong Air-conditioner*Location ( I prefer being off the strip - too many posers and tourists)Cons*No swimming pool (although I think you'll be able to use the one at their sister hotel The Plaza once it re-opens)*Smoky smell in Casino*Outdated decor*Slow draining tub and sink+++++ After 4pm,The Market Cafe in the California Casino (across the street) has a DELICIOUS prime rib dinner with salad bar, potato, veg, and dessert for only $8.95.
