1. It was nice to take the long walk to our destination the *one* time, but we didn't feel comfortable doing that late at night.

3. I would not call the location 'scenic' and there is little or no food or shopping within walking distance, but a free shuttle is provided on the hour to take you to the Strip or the airport.

Great value, wonderful staff, very clean, good gym, excellent safety deposit box system, very nice free breakfast (all other places to get breakfast are $10-40!), free shuttles to 2 hotels and to and from airport, great pool, hot tub and cabanas, 10 mins or less walk to the strip, convenience store next door, burger place next door, near to airport and main hire car center.

5. This hotel was close to the strip (less than a $10 cab ride and possibly within walking distance if you don't mind crossing a busy intersection) and across the street from the extremely affordable and delicious In-N-Out Burger.

6. This is a great hotel (great value) within walking distance of the strip (MGM Grand, New York New York, Tropicana, Excalibur) without any of the issues of the strip - traffic, and lines.

9. There's a small convenience 'store' in the lobby that sells snacks, toiletries, etc. There's a larger gas station convenience store right next door, and several fast food restuarants within walking distance.

10. Third, they forgot to mention that the shuttle will only drop you off on the strip at the New York New York hotel, and not farther, and will also not pick you up, so you either walk back or take a taxi (only reasonable option at 12am).
