The staff is friendly & nice, depending how busy it is the drink waitresses come more or less often as they staff according to how busy it is, of course tipping the waitress, well gets you a faster return visit remember waitresses only get paid tips no hour wages at all in most Las Vegas Casinos especially those downtown this knowledge was emparted to me a few years back when I ran into a waitress who was a highschool mate she gave me the 411 all they get is a uniform if any & free dry cleaning so tip well and you will get better speedier service.

4. I booked 3 nights at the El Cortez for two friends and I just to prove what a great hotel it really is, and they were knocked-out with the great room, service and food, just as I had anticipated.

8. Good room and service, excellent prices, the bartender knows your name and I love that walkway (cobblestone and palm trees) to Fremont.

9. the valet service is very quick and free (we tipped) and it is a couple of short blocks to the Deuce - the bus which runs up and down Las Vegas avenue for $2 a ride or $5 for the day.
